Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks

After our stay in Moab, we headed north towards Salt Lake City. We found this city very interesting and discovered that it is actually more than just “the city of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games”.

Salt Lake City was created - and is today still mostly controlled - by the Mormons, we could feel their influence in many aspects of the city as well as in the proposed touristic attractions.

The community hosts the world's biggest genealogical database where we can freely access tons of data regarding our ancestors. We've spent a bit of time there, but not enough to find relevant information about our family 😀

We then drove to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is the world’s oldest National Park (created in 1872) and is home of a huge amount of geysers, hot springs and impressive number of wild Buffalos and Bears. It is a really nice park and despite the high number of tourists, everything is very well organised and the visits were always pleasant.

The following video is an extract of our visit of Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks:

No much to say about Glacier National Park as it is basically the same as our Alps, but not as nice 😉
